An Inconvenient Truth!

I had been meaning to write my experiences while watching the DVD “An Inconvenient Truth”. I have seen many documentaries right from “In Search of Excellence to National Geographic’s Wild Life stuff to Space movies like Apollo13, Earth missions like The Core, Mountain rescuers like ALIVE” but the amount of passion and drive for environment which this DVD has created hasn’t been generated by any other documentary or Movie.
“An Inconvenient Truth” is a DVD presentation from AL Gore and is the best and a “********** Ten Star Documentary” where I rate it.
Couple of things which immediately come to my mind about the presentation:
- Best Presentation for Organization personnel from training point of view how a presentation should be.
- Very good Statistical data presentation including humor wherever necessary.
- Awareness about how and what we have added to Global Warming.
- To some extent what can be done to improve things.
- Generates drive in thinkers, what they can contribute to environment right from Power savings to tree plantations.
We have been cribbing about the change in climate for some time now, but some body needs to look at the way constructions are going around and trees are being cut, somebody needs to explain and publish for public the “analysis reports“ while making and giving decisions about urban and rural programmes, I mean here some kind of “Hazard Analysis Report” can be made essential to the government authorities while making top level decisions and publish these reports for public viewing.
The bribe system prevailing in country needs to make a way for this issue more on a moral ground as we are answerable to our children and grandchildren. One among us has to Architect the texture and design of policies to fight the warming and keep that alive for hundreds of years like James Madison who has architected the scalable US constitution which has lived for 200+ years.
About Al Gore:
Charming, Lot of drive, Good interpersonal skills, should have been given a chance after George Bush’s first term to fight warming rather than invisible terror. After long time seen such a personality, some of them where from Kashmir I have seen when I was younger and were learned ones with similar love for nature. AL Gore deserves to be on top of the world. Long live AL Gore!.

Spread Awareness:
I think it is our social responsibility to spread awareness of this gory fact with Gore’s presentation, so that people get more drive and work collectively to contribute in a big way.
